Your movie-night choices

Guest services, profiles and feedback about films are saved on your device. Signing in saves your group to your account. Payments are handled by Stripe. Movie information comes from TMDB. Feedback submitted through Send feedback is private to the site owner.

Advertising measurement

We use Google Ads to measure successful movie-night starts and optimise advertising. When permitted, Google receives browser and device information, IP address, page URLs, advertising click identifiers and a movie-night start event with a random event identifier. Google may use advertising cookies, including _gcl_* cookies, according to its policies. We do not send profile names, email addresses, titles or taste preferences in conversion events, and do not enable customer matching.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Canada are asked first. Unknown locations also require acceptance. Canada is treated conservatively because country detection cannot identify Quebec. Elsewhere ordinary advertising tracking is enabled unless you reject it or an applicable privacy signal opts you out. Global Privacy Control overrides acceptance.

Rejecting blocks our Google tag and conversion reporting; movie picking still works. Events blocked at the time are not replayed if you later accept.

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to accept, reject or withdraw. Opening settings does not erase your current choice. We save your choice, time, region, random device reference and notice version on your device, preserving prior acceptance when you withdraw. The most recent permitted conversion retains a local reference to the choice used. Clearing browser storage removes this device's records.

Withdrawal stops new conversion reporting but does not delete data already sent to Google. Google sets its own retention and cookie expiry periods. See Google's advertising privacy information.

Movie Night also uses Lovable's site-usage measurements and aggregate activity events to understand visits and errors. Advertising choices control Google Ads separately. Use Send feedback to contact the site owner about your data or privacy choices.
